Rw Eco “Chicago 1977” – Rn Collectors

Retro running sneakers are our essence. Color combinations and details are very important, but we also like to capture stories in them. Hence the need to create a third colorway that is part of the “RN COLLECTORS” series.

The Rw Eco Chicago 1977 are inspired by the Chicago Marathon, which although its first edition was in 1905 and only had 20 registered runners, it was not until 1977 when it began to be held every year continuously, in 2023 will be its 45th Anniversary and we wanted to pay tribute to it. The combination and the Rw Eco model remind us of the sneakers used by the runners along the 26.2 miles of the streets of Chicago, that’s why we have limited this edition to only 20 pairs in commemoration of those 20 runners.

We have used suede and mesh in shades of gray, black nubuck and two-tone reflective white/silver. In the toebox and on the side we find a degraded circular perforated used only for the sneakers of the “RN COLLECTORS” series, in addition to the transfer of the heel in white, we also applied the “RN” embroidery on the top of the tongue. We include custom insole and box.

In the Sneepcrew factory the craftsman’s hands are still in the manufacturing process along with technology and current advances finding the perfect balance to give the best premium sneakers we are capable of making. That’s why we continue to manufacture in Spain trying to put a little bit of soul in each of our creations.
