Rw Eco “New York 1970” – Rn Collectors

Retro running sneakers are our essence. Color combinations and details are very important, but we also like to capture stories in them. Hence the need to create a fourth colorway that is part of the “RN COLLECTORS” series.

The Rw Eco New York 1970 was inspired by the first New York Marathon. It was organized by the New York Road Runners on September 13, 1970, and has been held annually since that year. It was also awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for Sports in 2014 and is currently recognized as one of the most important marathons in the world.

We have used off-white leather throughout the upper. In the toebox and on the side we find a degraded circular perforated, with reflective base, used only for the sneakers of the “RN COLLECTORS” series, in addition to the laser engraving of the heel, we also applied the embroidery of the isotype on the top of the tongue. Each foot alternates the color maroon and blue on the inner lining and logo. We include personalized insole and box, as well as a platinum lace loop with “1970” engraving and three laces, off-white, navy blue and maroon, with platinum metal ends. We have accompanied this combination with a leather key ring with an exclusive design.

In the Sneepcrew factory the craftsman’s hands are still in the manufacturing process along with technology and current advances finding the perfect balance to give the best premium sneakers we are capable of making. That is why we continue to manufacture in Spain trying to put a little bit of soul in each of our creations.
